Our son had Selective Mutism in school and after trying a few counselors, we were very discouraged with the lack of progress and understanding for this very specific issue. We were … More then very fortunate to finally meet "Miss Colleen". Colleen was referred highly to us from other professionals and we can't thank her enough. From the moment we first walked in, Colleen was very warm and welcoming and her office was very child-friendly. We immediately knew she would be the right fit for our son. Selective Mutism requires time and patience. We visited regularly for over a year and through play therapy in Colleen's amazing lego room and lots of conversation, our son finally broke the silence. Success came after a variety of strategies and techniques were used and clearly communicated to us and our son's teachers. Colleen's communication, genuine concern and great interaction with school led to success. Be patient. There is no quick fix, but Colleen knows exactly how to build a relationship and help a child through this difficult diagnosis. Highly recommended. -

Ms. Colleen was extremely helpful and understanding of the need of our son. She was able to work with him and help him become more expressive with her play based therapy. We saw excellent … More progress and brought our second son when we began noticing that he was struggling emotionally. She has been wonderful in helping them express themselves while they are having fun. She has spoken and communicated with our children's teachers and other care providers to not only help her understand what their situation was, but to help teachers and providers understand what they are going through. She communicates with us as parents, even when it's outside of our scheduled time. She truly cares about the progress of our boys and ensuring that they succeed through their struggles. Thank you Ms. Colleen for all of your excellent work! You have truly impacted not just our kids but our family as a whole in a meaningful and positive direction ♥️ -

I cannot recommend Dr. Collleen Fitzpatrick highly enough. From our first session, it was clear that they genuinely care about my well-being. She had a safe, non-judgmental space where … More I feel heard and understood. Her approach is both compassionate and insightful, helping me to not only address immediate concerns but also understand deeper patterns in my thoughts and behaviors. She helped me navigate some of the most challenging periods, and I always left feeling lighter and more empowered.
