Being Wise When You Feel Anxious

We all feel anxious at one time or another. One coping skill that you can use to manage that anxiety is to be wise. But what exactly does that mean? Being wise means knowing yourself well enough so that you can recognize your feelings and know what to do to prevent you from feeling out of control. For some people, it may mean staying away from family members that may trigger you. For others, it may mean going for a long walk. In general, it can be a combination of factors that can help you feel wise when anxiety sets in.
