Rhythm is defined as a strong, regular, repeated pattern of movement or sound. As a trained clinician in Neurologic Music Therapy, I use the rhythm of word, sounds and movements to help people in difficult situations( anxiety, trauma, ect.). I can attest to the fact that our brains respond well to rhythm.
In life, there are ups and downs. The rhythm of life is unpredictable. So how can we get support and structure through those ups and downs?
- Make yourself a priority.
- Establish boundaries.
- Seek help from a clinically licensed counselor.
- Have personal supports in place.
